Project Description:
Traffic studies, traffic signal designs, construction consultations
Engineering Activities:
Grove Miller Engineering, Inc. completed traffic analyses, prepared
traffic signal designs and provided construction consultation in
conjunction with the reconstruction and widening (to six travel
lanes) of SR 0030. Traffic engineering activities included collecting
traffic data, developing future design year traffic projections,
analyzing future design year traffic demands, recommending intersection
and traffic control improvements, presenting study report results
and recommendations to state officials, preparing preliminary (permit)
and final (construction) traffic signal plans, preparing maintenance
and protections of traffic plans, preparing interconnect plans,
and providing construction consultation. A total of thirteen (13)
intersections within the project areas were analyzed. Traffic signal
designs were completed for all thirteen (13) study intersections.
